For years now, academics and others around the world have celebrated Darwin Day, and international celebration of Darwin’s influence on the world. Darwin’s ideas have changed the world is so many ways, including having major effects in fields such as biology, medicine, education, computer engineering, and beyond.
Today, my research team, the New Paltz Evolutionary Psychology Lab, will offer a FREE symposium for the Hudson Valley Humanists to celebrate Darwin Day (his birthday, by the way, was February 12, 1809).
If interested, note that this event, which will include several 15-minute talks regarding how technology is affecting the modern human condition, given by myself along with several other members of my research team (under the chairship of Julia Lombard), will be freely streamed here: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89068629926?pwd=dm9pbGVJeDg2N2o1VWJyLzY5YjBkUT09 (permalink will be posted herein within a few days).
